Today my review will be about Versace Vanitas eau de parfum for women. I have a branded sample that I am currently using.
The word "vanitas" in Latin is translated as "vanity" There was also such a genre of painting, vanitas is a still life where, in addition to other objects, a human skull was traditionally painted. Honestly, using this fragrance, it is completely incomprehensible to me how its name can be associated with the contents.
In my opinion, Vanitas Versace is definitely not the smell of vanity. When I use it, thoughts about vanity do not appear at all, that is, the smell is not extraordinary at all, and does not fit in with the name.
I have here a branded 1.5 ml sample, very beautiful. Glossy gold paper beautifully reflects light.
The fragrance is available in volumes of 30, 50, and 100 ml. In my opinion, the bottle looks pretty good. It is made of heavy thick transparent glass, decorated with a stylish cap with the brand logo. In general, I like the design of the bottle.
Indeed, Vanitas Versace is a light, fresh, floral scent. When you inhale this fragrance, its freshness literally "gets stuck" in the nose. This is definitely not a masterpiece of perfumery art, it will not stun you with its brightness, rich pyramid, or interesting development. Vanitas is a light, everywhere appropriate scent for the warm spring and summer season.

The perfume pyramid consists of 5 notes and in it I identify only 3 - lime, freesia, and Tiare flower.
In my opinion, Vanitas would be suitable for women of any age. But it’s definitely not suitable for men, it’s obviously a very floral and feminine scent. I see Vanitas Versace on a young girl, most likely on a blonde. She is dressed in a light white dress or just casual clothes. She walks down the street on a sunny summer morning, happy and young, and her hair flutters in the wind. Her hair smells of Vanitas perfume, which leaves a light fresh sillage.
Vanitas is also great for jeans and a white top. This fragrance is suitable for any clothing, except for dark evening dresses. I would not use it for a party or official event, because the fragrance is clearly daytime and for everyday use.
The main minus for me personally is that the Vanitas perfume has no personality. This scent does not show sexuality, a secret, it does not attract. I love catchy fragrances, even in the summer it is important for me to smell somehow interesting, the perfume should suit my character.
In addition, Vanitas has weak longevity and quickly flies off the body.
Of the pluses, I can note a pretty good sillage and the lightness that it gives when you wear it. It is the scent of cleanliness.

- will not bother anyone, except for the clinking purity that hits your nose :)
- suitable for lovers of floral scents
- for everyday use
- not catchy perfume, it lacks originality
